How To Embed Periscope Broadcasts To Your Website

You can now repurpose your live streaming content into a blog post, even easier than in the past!

Previously, I showed you how to transcribe your live streams and use them as the basis for writing your blogs, making them a content machine! It’s an easy, streamlined way to use your broadcasts as the springboard for your blog posts and the cornerstone of your social media strategy.

Then after using it as the jumping-off point for your strategy, download the video, edit and upload it toYouTube, Vimeo, or your personal website. Well, no more!

Now you can embed your Periscope video directly! Use your live videos as a video blog that you can easily embed. And to make it even better, just run the video through Yoast for SEO to make sure it’s SEO friendly and you’re done!

Wanna share someone else’s video on your site? No need to ask them to get the video, just grab their tweet and embed it on your website (of course, only if they are ok with you posting it on your site).

So how do you go about embedding the link on your website? After you’ve recorded a broadcast (with Twitter enabled), go to Twitter and find your tweet with the Periscope link and click on the 3 dots below the post. Select “Embed Tweet.” Make sure that media is enabled.

Next, take the HTML code and embed it into the website post of your choosing. Easy as pie. That just cut down the time that it took you to post AND gives you some dynamic new visual content for your website.
